How to Incorporate a TV in Your Decor

When it comes to your television, figuring out how best to incorporate it into the living space can be challenging. Should it be seen or concealed? . “It becomes even more complicated when the same room has a fireplace, which already acts as a focal point.” The function of the room and whether it’s a formal or casual space will drive the decision to keep a

Consider the size of the room. “Generally, the closer you are to the screen, the lower and smaller it should be,” advises Stringer. This TV is mounted next to a fireplace mantel on a rotating panel that swivels out of sight.
If the TV occupies a bedroom or a formal space, or is watched infrequently, it’s best to conceal it. In this bedroom, two flat screens are mounted back-to-back inside the antique-looking trunk at the foot of the bed. “When raised, one TV faces the bed while the other set faces the sitting area,” says Stringer.
