WHAT DO I MOST ENJOY ABOUT NEWPORT?
"One word would probably be Summer!! The beaches, the harbor, and Cliff Walk. However, maybe I'd say the Fall instead. The leaves, the surf, and how the city quiets down after the summer season. Maybe I would choose the Spring. When the weather warms, the trees begin to bloom, when everything wakes up from the winter. Or I could even say I prefer the Winter. When the sunrise is best, when America's Cup Ave is decked out in Christmas lights, or when the Lily Pond is frozen for a pickup game of ice hockey. I guess I can't say which time or special place in Newport is the best, or my favorite. It's the combination of all its people and places, its seasonal vibes, and its history that really makes me appreciate this little island I call home."
WHY IS REAL ESTATE EXCITING TO ME?
"Having grown up a fourth generation Newporter, I was raised in a middle-class neighborhood, surrounded by the history and wealth of this community. Now having entered into the business as a Realtor® in Newport County, I've been fortunate to be immersed in all facets of real estate. From an oceanfront mansion to a one-bedroom pied-a-terre, I enjoy seeing a property inside and out and really getting to know the client through their process of buying or selling. The excitement of a new homeowner, the pride of seeing a renovation from start to finish, or my tenacity in a negotiation: These are things that thrill me, navigating a client through their real estate endeavor, one property at a time."

Mike was born and raised in Newport, RI. He attended the University of Rhode Island and upon graduation began his career in the yachting industry managing the Goat Island Marina on the harbor in Newport. Mike has always had a passion for real estate, owning and managing local properties for over fifteen years. Specializing in both residential and commercial real estate, Mike brings an enthusiastic, professional and friendly personality to his clients. Being an active member of the community, he also brings a wealth of local knowledge. In his spare time, Mike is a budding triathlete and can frequently be found surfing our beautiful coastline. Now residing in Portsmouth, he is a proud husband and father of three boys.
